Timeline of a twitter scam

In the space of a couple of minutes

I caught this a few seconds after it was posted…. and watched the tweet morphing from moment to moment…..

Nothing familiar about the message…. wonder who is posting this

Now we have a familiar face — but what a name….

Ah — ok it’s Amber. But hang on — that’s nothing like her account…

That’s (Almost) better…. shame about the 19….

And of course the payload, as always is a giveaway scam like the one below

Followed by a few fake accounts claiming that “It really works!”

PLEASE REPORT ALL SCAMS THAT YOU COME ACROSS.

REPORT THE TWEET AS ABUSING / TARGETED HARASSMENT

REPORT THE ACCOUNT AS IMPERSONATING SOMEBODY ELSE.
