HGT Listing on Uniswap

HGT now on Uniswap

HGT is now listed on Uniswap and as a result can be traded from Metamask (Firefox only at the moment) or on Uniswap.

You may be required to add the token yourself — in which case you need to enter the following address

0xba2184520A1cC49a6159c57e61E1844E085615B6

A short while after you have entered the address, HGT will appear as an option, then you can access the pair on the uniswap interface. You will not need to add it again in future.

Now you can buy HGT on Uniswap.

Using Metamask (firefox only)

Metamask announced that they now have integrated swaps into the interface.

You should see the following on the drop down. You should select ETH or WETH (if you have it) for one side and HGT for the other.

Select the “swap” button.

When you have entered the ETH amount and selected HGT, you can continue. You will see the following

When this is finished, you are presented the best quote. You can opt to see all quotes or accept this quote.

If you decide to see the quotes click on “3 quotes available ->”

While you could drill down further, this is probably enough so you can select a new choice or cancel to keep the existing. Then click “Swap”

And when completed…

Transaction completed.

Looking on Etherscan you will see the transaction in all its glory

yup — still got my vanity address :-)

Most people would swap ETH instead of WETH, but you will see that in my case, since I needed to transfer tokens to Uniswap, Metamask sent TWO transactions, the first to the token to allow Uniswap to take my tokens and the second to perform the swap.

So that’s it. Two ways to buy or sell HGT on Uniswap.
